The city of Modena, situated in Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy is considered one of the major gastronomical hubbubs in Italy. The city is recognized internationally for its specialty products. i.e. Modena Balsamic vinegar, tortellini, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, prosciutto di Parma etc. Modena is also one of the most important automobile center.
The owner Giuseppe Lagiorgia is equally passionate about Italian cuisine and Italian cars. As proof, his décor includes a canvas of Enzo Ferrari and Gilles Villeneuve. A symbol of the success between two cultures- Italian and Quebecois.
Located at 295 rue Saint-Paul Est in Montreal, the Rasco Hotel was built in 1834-1836 by Thomas McGrath and Vital Gibault, in a neoclassical style. Recognized for its elegance that was the pride of Montreal, the hotel was admired across the border. It was certainly one of the largest in Montreal with its 80 rooms. The building housed a concert hall, a ballroom and a restaurant with a Palais Royal de Paris style.OUR EVENTS
