Modena is a modern classic, built on the perfect balance of old world and new. On entering the restaurant, you will be immersed in its European ambiance.

You will especially be impressed by the immense Tuscan style courtyard located at the rear of the building. Take in the beauty of its original vines and foliage greenery surrounding its historical stone walls. It is the perfect place to enjoy Montreal’s warm summer weather, “la dolce Vita,” as they say in Italy.

Modena is the ideal destination for all types of get-togethers, whether it be a vibrant friend’s night out, family gatherings, business affairs or simply enjoying a dinner with a loved one, Modena is sure to please all! They take pride in working with high quality ingredients, such as their imported tomatoes from Modesto, California, prepared in all of their homemade sauces. The restaurant features Italian fare and is known for its classic antipasti, its famous thin crust pizzas, it’s delicious sautéed pastas and its exquisite Italian imported tiramisu, which is by far the best to be had. Not to mention the vast selection of drinks, cocktails and Italian wines sold by the bottle or by the glass.

The city of Modena, situated in Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy is considered one of the major gastronomical hubbubs in Italy. The city is recognized internationally for its specialty products. i.e. Modena Balsamic vinegar, tortellini, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, prosciutto di Parma etc. Modena is also one of the most important automobile center.

Located at 295 rue Saint-Paul Est in Montreal, the Rasco Hotel was built in 1834-1836 by Thomas McGrath and Vital Gibault, in a neoclassical style. Recognized for its elegance that was the pride of Montreal, the hotel was admired across the border. It was certainly one of the largest in Montreal with its 80 rooms. The building housed a concert hall, a ballroom and a restaurant with a Palais Royal de Paris style.OUR EVENTS
